Meet Dr. Miguel Chaar (Tucson, AZ)

Miguel Chaar, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry.

Dr. Chaar is an experienced optometrist who has been providing comprehensive eye care for more than 35 years. Before joining Affinity Eye Care, he owned and operated a private optometry practice for 12 years. He also developed expertise in occupational vision and workplace wellness as a Certified Office Ergonomics Specialist, providing occupational optometry and ergonomic consulting services to businesses and organizations to improve employee comfort, visual efficiency, and workplace productivity.

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Chaar has served the Southern Arizona community with compassionate, personalized eye care. He enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve better vision and maintain lifelong eye health, whether through routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, or the early detection of eye conditions. Dr. Chaar is bilingual in English and Spanish and values building long-term relationships with individuals and families while providing care in both languages.
